Acta entomologica slovenica is the newsletter of the Slovenian Entomological Society of Štefan Michieli and the Slovenian Museum of Natural History. It publishes original scientific works, review articles and book reviews in the field of entomology. Articles may deal with fauna, systematics, ecology, ethology, physiology or zoogeography of insects. They should be written in Slovene or English, with a mandatory English and Slovene abstract. The articles are peer-reviewed. Two issues are published annually.

Authors are asked to follow the latest issue of the journal when designing their articles. If possible, send your text by e-mail or submit it on a digital medium. The printout of the article on paper should have double spaces between lines to allow for proofreading. The drawings should be contrasting, and the thickness of the lines should also take into account the possible reduction to the magazine format. Images should be in original files if submitting electronically.

Cited literature should be listed at the end of the article and should be sorted alphabetically according to the surnames of the authors.

Article authors get 20 special prints and an article in electronic form for free.
