Working hours

The exhibitions are open:

  • From Monday to Sunday between 10.00 and 18.00.
  • On December 24th and December 31st, the museum operates on reduced working hours, from 10.00 to 13.00.

The museum is closed on:
January 1st, May 1st, November 1st, and December 25th.

ADMISSION FEES FOR THE NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM OF SLOVENIA:

  • Elementary school students, high school students, college students, retirees, school groups, groups of over 10 people (without guided tour): €4.50
  • Adults: €6.50
  • Family ticket: €13.00

 

Admission with pedagogical andragogical program:

  • Groups of over 10 people with thematic guidance: €4.00
  • School groups (one program) – thematic guidance, workshop, hands-on activities, or a museum educational walk (worksheets): €4.00
  • School groups (two programs) – thematic guidance and workshop or hands-on activities: €7.00
  • School groups (one program with independent work using worksheets) – guidance or workshop + museum educational walk with worksheets: €5.00
  • Museum Natural Science Day – three programs: €8.00
  • Museum Natural Science Day – five programs: €12.00
  • Children’s workshops: €6.00
  • Reserved workshop: €150.00 (also for school groups when the workshop starts after 4:00 PM or on Saturdays and Sundays)
  • Weekly workshops: €35.00

 

Additional cost for content in a foreign language:

  • Thematic guided tours, workshops, hands-on activities, museum educational walks: €1.50
  • Natural Science Day (2 programs): €2.00
  • Natural Science Day (3 to 5 programs): €3.00

 

COMBINED ADMISSION FOR THE NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM OF SLOVENIA AND THE NATIONAL MUSEUM OF SLOVENIA:

  • School groups (with or without guided tour): €7.00
  • Groups of over 10 people: €7.00
  • Elementary school students, high school students, college students, retirees: €6.00
  • Adults: €10.00
  • Family ticket: €17.00

 

When reserving a workshop and guided tour at the Natural History Museum of Slovenia (NHMS) and simultaneously visiting the National Museum of Slovenia (NMS), the admission fee is €7.00 for PMS + NMS admission fee according to their price list. The combined admission fee is charged only if there is no planned workshop at NHMS.
